Room design doesn’t need to be a huge hurdle. In fact, making the interior design of your dreams come alive is much simpler than you might think. It all starts with matching your furniture and wall paint. That said, you might need to ask yourself a few questions. For starters, what kind of aesthetic are you going for? In any case, following these tips should help get you started

Furniture and Paint Combos

First things first, let’s take a few minutes to talk about furniture and paint combinations. There is a lot of psychology involved when it comes to choosing certain colors. Blue tends to be more relaxing because it is so cool. Red also tends to be more exciting. Take your personality and the tastes of your family into account when deciding which combos you will use in your home

Using Blue Wall Paint

Blue paint is best paired with furniture that is gold, off-white, mustard, or green. Blue provides a calm backdrop for the other colors to really shine off of. This makes even more of a difference if you have a couch or sofa that has been with your family for decades and you want it to be as eye-catching as possible.

Using Green Wall Paint

Meanwhile, green paint is best for grey, brown, pink, and red furniture. After all, green is soothing to the eye. It pairs well with more aggressive colors like pink and red. Use green paint in bedrooms, where it is a calming influence before bedtime.

Using Grey Wall Paint

Since grey is a neutral color, it works well with any furniture color. Experiment with red, brown, or white. In rooms with brighter furniture colors, you should choose grey as the backdrop for an outstanding contrast.

Using Orange Wall Paint

Finally, let’s discuss using orange wall paint. If you have turquoise or teal furniture, then this is the combination for you. Teal and turquoise are bold colors and they stand out better against an orange background. Here is where you can also use white furniture.
